Making the most of the Easter Weekend
Easter is a time of year when we can spend quality time with family and enjoy some well deserved relaxation.
The Easter weekend gives us some respite from the daily grind, with those bank holidays enabling us to unwind and enjoy some time to ourselves if we need it, or to be sociable. We can do what we want to do and not have to worry about setting alarms for a good few days.
The Easter weekend also offers the chance to enjoy some time in a new location, whether that be at home or abroad. Day trips and holidays are commonplace over the Easter period as the schools break up.
Easter is also when the weather and daylight really takes a positive turn. It can be a long old winter here in the UK, but once Easter comes there’s a notable shift towards brighter, longer days, and (usually) warmer temperatures.
With Easter not so very far away now, we’ve put together this blog on how you might be able to spend your Easter, and a few items that can help you make the most of the long Easter weekend.
Get creative
A nice activity to do with the kids over the Easter weekend is having some creative fun. Getting arty and crafty is a great way to spend time together as a family and make something new.
At EFG Housewares, we have a host of items that can help to turn your Easter weekend into something of a creative masterclass.
Take a look at our creative craft kit and crafting felt stickers. These are fun for all the family and can allow you to make some thrilling Easter collages.
You can also add your own creative touches to make your own Easter Bonnet. And take a look at these Easter Craft Kit foam eggs and Easter egg painting sets too while you’re here.
Decorate your home and yourself
To celebrate Easter, you can get your home looking really good and get into the feel of the Easter season.
Items such as this Easter Egg wreath and Mr and Mrs Bunny are wonderful additions to any home over the Easter holidays.
And if you’re a whizz in the kitchen, take a look at these Happy Easter Egg Toast Stamps. These are a great way to spread the Easter joy throughout your home at mealtime.
Add some Giant Clip on Bunny Ears to your look and it’s safe to say you’ve fully embraced the Easter spirit.
Get Egg Hunting
Few traditions are as fun as an Easter Egg hunt. These are a great way to get the whole family together to find some delicious chocolatey treats.
One exciting way to do this is to get hold of some chocolate treats and place them around your garden or home.
You can then collect them in an Easter basket and save them for a special occasion, or just munch away and enjoy those wonderful chocolate flavours.
Give something nice this Easter
And there’s no reason why you can’t give a few Easter gifts this year as part of your celebrations.
Why not take a look at our Make Your Own Easter Card product. This is a lovely way to show you care for somebody and provide them with a timely reminder of this as Easter arrives.
As well as the brilliant range of products we’ve linked to thus far in this blog, we have a dedicated Easter range that’s packed full of superb items that are a great thing to add to your stock ahead of this Easter weekend.
